Can I just say that GCF-Northers are camera hogs?! Mga walang hiya. Hayok sa camera. It was so hard posing for a matino shot cause everyone wanted to be up front.

When the person who took this started counting I remember being in front. After 3 seconds these people were suddenly in front of me

Kuya Jojo seemed as if he was saying: ano ba tong mga to! I give up!

These were taken from the youth event called "The Incredible Race" yesterday at the QC Circle. The rains prevented us from continuing the race but we had fun rappelling (did I spell this right?), traversing (walking on rope) and sliding down from the 25 feet tower. Oh I should say, THEY had fun doing all those. I was too busy cheering on "my" team which had Mark, Grace, and Allison from ISOT. I really tried hard not to make them feel out of place cause they didn't know anyone except for the Luga family, me and some people from the team. I hope they had fun...

I don't think I had the guts to try rappelling anyway. I would've froze right on the steps. Yes I'm a wimp. But I think I'd rather conquer my fear of heights when the whole youth congregation isn't watching. Aside from those activities which I mentioned we had an impromptu program which involved singing, games and a spontaneous evangelistic message by the ever amazing Kuya Levi. It was such a blessing to see everyone, even the twenteenagers participate in singing the song "With Christ in my Vessel". Was that even the right title? I'm not sure. But it went like this:

With Christ in my vessel I can smile at the storm, smile at the storm, smile at the storm. With Christ in my vessel I can smile at the storm until he takes me home. Sailing, sailing, I'm sailing home (2x). With Christ in my vessel I can smile at the storm until he takes me home.

FYI, we sang this along with actions. Yep, we were like kids from Sunday School. It was so much fun :) After singing we played Paint-me-a-Picture. It was hilarious. The poses which we had to do ranged from Mulawin to a scene from Shark Tale. It went well thanks to Ate Didits and Ate Shelby. Then Kuya Levs went on with the message and led the prayer while some of the youth accepted Jesus in their hearts as their Lord and Savior. It. was. amazing.

After the program, we had "picture-taking" time. We tried to have a decent picture really. But everyone was just so hyper and giddy. I didn't expect my churchmates to be such camera hogs. I thought me and my cousin Tate were already bad. The Gesilva brothers were worse. And I swear Tanya could be spotted in practically ALL the pictures we took. Finally we organized a "class pictorial". It took forever to organize us.

After we left Circle we went with the Luga family to hang at their home and watch movies. Going to ISOT is always a joy to me. The place makes me want to go to bible school even more. And being with the Lugas is such a blessing. They treat us all like family. Gusto ko na ngang magpa-ampon minsan hehe. We watched the uncut version of "The Fellowship of the Ring" after our yummy dinner of barbeque and chopsuey. My butt seriously ached after 3 and a half hours. But I think it was the first time I really understood the film. Haha I know. What a ditz huh? It's just that I've never bothered to read LOTR. And I've seen FOTR like what, 3 years ago? Kuya Milton took me and Tate home around 11. I crashed soon after.

SUNDAY, Nov. 28
Sunday was fun too. I've always looked forward to Sundays since my tita allowed me to attend GCF regularly. That Sunday was particularly memorable cause something happened the week before. I won't elaborate on it but that experience was truly a blessing cause I, and I'm sure the others who were at church last saturday as well, learned a lot of things. I sang for back-up in the morning services and the youth service. Medyo nakakahiya cause I wasn't able to memorize the lyrics. I hope the congregation won't stumble cause of my irresponsibility. The morning services were extra special too cause 6:33 from GCF Ortigas sang. They were incredible! I first heard them when I attended the "Experiencing God" seminar a few months ago. Galing! Na-insecure tuloy ako hehe. How I wish I could sing just as good. During the youth worship service P. Ro gave the message. I just love the way he preaches. His testimonial was amazing.

Us with some of the members of 6:33.

After youth service some of the people went to Camp Crame to play basketball and have fellowship with the Ortigas guys. Being the unathletic and lazy person that I was, I just ate with Ena, Tita Ams, Tito Erwin and Ate Shelbs outside the courts while my friends were playing. How supportive huh?

North and Ortigas. They crushed us hehe. Notice Mark throwing the ball. Panira noh?

Welps, that's it for now. I've gotta concentrate on my thesis if I want to march on march (no pun intended haha). Have a blessed week!
